Education, not medical advice

The content on this site is general patient education. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment recommendation, and not a substitute for a consultation with a clinician who has examined you and knows your history. In particular, nothing here can tell you whether the change in your own skin is a condition with its own treatment, and that is the first thing an assessment establishes.

Mixtures that are not standardised

Mesotherapy is a technique, and what is injected under that name is not standardised between clinics or between sessions. Nothing on this site describes a specific mixture or recommends one, and no statement here about evidence or risk applies to a mixture we have not seen. Where a plan is proposed, ask for it as a list of substances rather than as a treatment name, and treat a plan that cannot be listed as a reason to ask again.

Temporary results, no promises

Where a change is reported after a course, it is usually modest, it lies in surface quality rather than in firmness or volume, and it fades without further sessions. No outcome can be promised for your own case, no duration described on this site is a promise, and no part of any effect described here is lasting.

When to seek care urgently

After any injection, severe pain out of proportion to the procedure, or skin turning white, grey, mottled or dusky, requires immediate assessment. Any change in vision requires emergency care. A nodule, a firm lump or a spreading redness appearing days to months after a session should be reported when it appears rather than at a scheduled review. Do not wait for the next appointment.
